Paint and Household Hazardous Waste Stewardship
On February 3, 2010, the government of Manitoba issued regulations requiring extended producer responsibility for specified Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and for certain Waste Electronics. Product Care is leading the industry working group for many of the HHW products. The regulation requires the stewardship programs to be implemented by April 1, 2011.
