Manitoba Stewardship

Product Care Association’s household hazardous waste program for residential-use paint and fluorescent lights has expanded to include flammable liquids and waste gasoline, pesticides, toxics, corrosives, and physically hazardous materials like non-refillable fuel gas cylinders.

Phase one of the Manitoba HHW program was provided Manitobans with a no charge collection system for household paint and residential-use fluorescent tubes and bulbs. With the phase two expansion the program now includes products like pesticides, waste gasoline, paint thinner, rust remover and camping fuel cylinders. Click here for a list of program products.

This program is operated by Product Care Association on behalf of product manufacturers and retailers in Manitoba in response to the provincial Household Hazardous Material and Prescribed Material Stewardship Regulation.
