Product Care Recycling has developed and launched a program for Non-Refillable Pressurized Fuel Containers in Québec on June 30, 2024.
Consumers will be able to drop off Non-Refillable Pressurized Fuel Containers (such as propane, butane, isobutane or MAP) for free at recycling locations across Québec for safe and responsible management.
Accepted Products:
Non-Refillable Pressurized Fuel Containers
Examples include non-refillable fuel cylinders, such as, but not limited to:
- Non-refillable butane, isobutane cylinders or cartridges
- Non-refillable camping cylinders or cartridges
- Non-refillable propane cylinder or canister
- Non-refillable fuel cylinders used for home or professional work
- Fuel aerosol cylinders, canisters and cartilages
Not Accepted Products:
- Refillable propane cylinders
- Non-fuel pressurized cylinders, containers or canisters
- Lighters
- Fire starters
- Portable helium tanks
