Product Care Recycling is developing a program for Non-Refillable Pressurized Fuel Containers in Québec with a targeted launch date of June 30, 2024.
Consumers will be able to drop off Non-Refillable Pressurized Fuel Containers (such as propane, butane, isobutane or propylene) for free at recycling locations across Québec for safe and responsible management.
Accepted Products:
Non-Refillable Pressurized Fuel Containers
Examples include non-refillable fuel cylinders, such as, but not limited to:
- Non-refillable butane cylinders
- Non-refillable camping cylinders
- Non-refillable propane cylinders
- Non-refillable fuel cylinders used for home or professional work
- Fuel aerosol cylinders
Not Accepted Products:
- Refillable propane cylinders
- Non-fuel pressurized containers
- Lighters
- Fire starters
- Portable helium tanks
