Prince Edward Island (PEI) is Canada’s smallest province in both land area and population. The province holds about 142,000 residents, with one quarter living in the capital city of Charlottetown.

The island is nicknamed the “Garden of the Gulf” for its lush and fertile land. Product Care Recycling is committed to supporting its protection by providing waste diversion solutions for paint and mercury-containing fluorescent light bulbs across the province.

The program utilizes the network of collection facilities operated by Island Waste Management Corporation. Product Care Recycling continues to partner with organizations like the Island Waste Management Corporation through promotional and educational activities to ensure the people of PEI are able to recycle their paint and lights.

In PEI’s paint recycling program, we accept many types of paint products including alkyd paint, latex paint, empty paint cans and paint aerosols.
