How it works
Service partners collect products like paint, lighting products, or smoke/CO alarms on behalf of Product Care. Our network of service partners include a wide range of organizations, including private bottle depots, non-profit organizations, regional government and municipal transfer stations and landfills and retailers. We provide our service partners with all the tools required to ensure collection success, including training manuals, forms, collection containers, product transport, and promotional materials, such as facility signage and brochures.
Why become a service partner?
Providing recycling services to your customers has many benefits for your business or organization:
- Offering value added services to your customers that sets you apart from your competitors
- PCA promotes our recycling programs for all service providers through different avenues including TV, print magazines, social media, Google, sponsorships, and more
- PCA advertises your location through our online depot locator tool, allowing consumers to find the most convenient location to recycle their products and driving consumer traffic to you.
In addition, your participation in PCA programs encourages positive recycling behavior by your customers, keeping hazardous waste (such as mercury and phosphor in CFLs) out of our landfills and waterways.
You may also be eligible for monetary compensation for collected product, depending on where your business is located and which products you choose to recycle.
