Overview: Program Plan Renewal
Product Care operates the BC Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Stewardship Program on behalf of producers of smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm products sold in British Columbia. The Program has operated since October 1, 2011.
Product Care has prepared a draft renewed Program Plan for stakeholder review and feedback before it is finalized and submitted to the Ministry for approval.
Stakeholder input is an important part of the renewal process, and all feedback received during the consultation period will be considered in finalizing the Program Plan. The renewed Program Plan remains subject to Ministry approval.

Stakeholders are invited to submit comments and feedback on the draft Program Plan by email.
