We’re heading to the 2026 Vancouver Landfill Open House, and we’d love to see you there!
On Saturday, June 6, the City of Vancouver opens the landfill gates for a free, family-friendly day of tours, hands-on exhibits, and a behind-the-scenes look at how waste is managed and resources are recovered. The event runs from 10 am to 2 pm at 5400 72nd Street in Delta, and this year marks the landfill’s 60th anniversary.
Here’s what you’ll find at the Product Care booth:
Spin our prize wheel: Test your recycling knowledge with a quick question about paint, lights, alarms, or household hazardous waste.
Pick up a small giveaway: We’ll have recycled pens and candy available while supplies last.
Enter our prize draw: Fill out a ballot for a chance to win a surprise Product Care prize after the event.
While you’re there, our team can answer your questions about leftover paint, household hazardous waste, lights, and smoke and CO alarms. These products need special handling, so we’ll show you how to store them safely and find a Product Care recycling locations near you.
Expect a full day for all ages: site tours, activities for kids, and plenty of people to answer your questions about reducing what we send to landfill.
