The following terms and conditions apply to the PaintShare DIY contest run by Product Care Recycling from August 7th until September 6th, 2019.
- The promoter is Product Care Association of Canada whose registered office is at 105 W 3rd Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, V5Y 1E6.
- The contest is open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) aged 19 years or older except employees of Product Care Association of Canada and their close relatives.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter.
- By entering this contest, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Route to entry for the contest and details of how to enter are available on Product Care Recycling’s Facebook page.
- Closing date for entry will be September 6th, 2019 at 9:00:00PM PST. After this date no further entries to the contest will be permitted.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received.
- The rules of the contest and how to enter are as follows:
Entrants must ‘Like’ the Product Care Recycling Facebook Page with their personal Facebook account. They must post a comment on the relevant Facebook post containing their contest entry. Entries should consist of an image of the entrant’s DIY painting project accompanied by a brief description of the project. All images used to enter must be original and owned by the entrant. Each entrant may submit a maximum of 5 entries.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, natural disaster or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the contest will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this contest.
- The prize is as follows: CA$200 gift credit to spend at Michael’s (no cash value), and one “Zero Waste Starter Kit” (approx. CA$100 value).
- The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- A winner will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. A winning entry will be chosen based on overall aesthetic, creativity and storytelling.
- The winner will be notified by email and/or message on Facebook within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected or will be delivered.
- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the contest will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The contest and these terms and conditions will be governed by Canadian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
- The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Canadian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
- Entry into the contest will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to Product Care Association of Canada and not to any other party.
