The draft Yukon Hazardous and Special Products (HSP) Stewardship Program Plan completed its 65-day consultation period on August 9, 2025. Product Care engaged with the Yukon Government, members, municipalities and service providers to address feedback captured during the consultation.
As presented in the consultation and communicated to members and the Yukon Government, Product Care will submit a program plan no later than September 10, 2025. Despite the region’s unique characteristics, complex program requirements, and emerging developments, Product Care remains committed to supporting members and meeting the targeted submission date.
Product Care has also requested a program launch date of December 1, 2025. We will inform members of the launch date once we receive approval from the Yukon Government.
