In light of recent communications circulating in the market, including information members may have received from other stewardship organizations regarding reporting or Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) remittance (such as direction not to report certain products through Product Care). BC Paint and Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) program members are reminded that reporting and remittance obligations remain unchanged.
Members must continue to report and remit EHFs to Product Care for all products that meet the BC Paint and HHW approved Program Plan requirements. Any changes to reporting obligations or to the scope of obligated products will be communicated directly by Product Care through an official member notice.
If you have received information that appears inconsistent with current requirements, or if you require clarification regarding your reporting obligations, please contact Product Care before making any changes to your reporting practices.
