Product Care offers Salmon Arm residents interim recycling service while search continues for a new permanent recycling location

November 15, 2021, Salmon Arm, BC — Product Care Recycling will be hosting a collection event for used residential and commercial lights at the parking lot of the Shaw Centre on November 24 from 10:30 a.m.– 2:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to hold onto their used light fixtures and lightbulbs for recycling on that day. The Shaw Centre is located at 2600 10th Ave NE in Salmon Arm.

All types of lightbulbs are accepted by the program including compact fluorescent lights (CFLs), fluorescent tubes, LEDs, high-intensity discharge lights (HIDs), incandescent, as well as light fixtures, such as table lamps, ceiling lights, pot lights, flashlights, light strings, etc.

Product Care thanks the Shaw Centre, Revelstoke Bottle Depot, and other community partners for their enthusiastic support in helping to bring light recycling services to Salmon Arm. We also want to thank the residents of Salmon Arm for their patience as we continue to work actively with community partners to find a new permanent recycling location in the community for used lights and fixtures.
