January 5, 2022, Salmon Arm, B.C. — Product Care Recycling will be hosting collection event for used lights and lighting fixtures (including holiday string lights) in the parking lot of the SASCU Indoor Memorial Arena on Saturday, January 15 from 9am to 3pm. The arena is located at 351 3rd Street SW in Salmon Arm.
All types of lightbulbs are accepted by the program including compact fluorescent lights (CFLs), fluorescent tubes, LEDs, high-intensity discharge lights (HIDs), incandescent, as well as light fixtures, such as table lamps, ceiling lights, pot lights, flashlights, holiday string lights, etc.
Product Care thanks the Shuswap Recreation Society, the CSRD, and other community partners for their enthusiastic support in helping to bring light recycling services to Salmon Arm.
