The Electronics and Electrical Product Category (Schedule 3) in the Recycling Regulation was amended to include a category for small appliances. This plan is due for submission by July 2010 and the program should be operational by April 2011.   

Product Care is currently leading the development of the BC Small Appliances product stewardship program on behalf of the Canadian Electrical Stewardship Association (CESA).  CESA is comprised of:
