BC Small Appliances

Unplugged, the Small Appliance Recycling Program gives British Columbians a new and convenient recycling option for these products.

As of October 1st, recycle your old and broken small appliances at one of over 100 Unplugged recycling drop-off locations across the province.

Introduced by the Canadian Electrical Stewardship Association (CESA), Unplugged is the first small appliance recycling program of its kind in Canada and the only government-approved small appliance recycling program in B.C. It accepts more than 120 small appliances, ranging in size from toasters and electric toothbrushes to countertop microwaves and vacuum cleaners.

Product Care has been contracted by CESA to manage the Unplugged program on the ground in British Columbia.
