The New Brunswick government announces creation of Recycle New Brunswick and paint stewardship.

Information for Paint brandowners who do business in New Brunswick.

New Brunswick has just passed regulations establishing a new multi-material stewardship board in New Brunswick, and designating paint products for product stewardship. See the regulation here: http://www.gnb.ca/0062/regs/2008-54.htm

If you are a paint brandowner in New Brunswick you have two obligations:

to register with the Recycle New Brunswick board by May 31, 2008 (using the registration form below).
to submit a paint stewardship program to Recycle New Brunswick by July 31, 2008 (the actual start date of any approved program will be set by Recycle New Brunswick).

Product Care is developing a paint stewardship program for New Brunswick on behalf of its members, and will complete the filing of the plan within the 90 day period, and notify you.
